I have a favourite stick. It's a cutting from a grape vine. Me and my mate near my home in Midland, Western Australia, used to do some seasonal work pruning vineyards in winter. There was a massive vine in the corner of one of the blocks, instead of pruning it properly every year for 3 years we shaped it into an ever bigger monster. Became useless to the vineyard, we thought it was hilarious. The last year we pruned there, we cut a piece of it each. I was best man at his wedding.
I love that you like men - so do I, quite often! - but this is such weirdly reactionary thinking (really essentialist descriptions of men, etc) dressed up as some defence against mainstream thinking. I get that you’re basically just defending a certain kinda masculinity, particularly lads’ masculinity, and I rly liked the bit where you talked about women’s desire to be with and like men cos of the freedom that represents / represented but ultimately … this doesn’t match the picture of many men (or women, or anyone else) who I know? It feels like revanchist shadow boxing.
I'm not trying to match anyone's picture except my own. This isn't meant to be read as didactic commentary it's just how I feel about my experiences at this point in time. Thanks for reading though!
I don't know if you've seen that video of the cat who was raised around pit bulls and therefore thinks it's a pit bull, always stanced up and barking... but it's very that.

I absolutely love this. Shout out to your Stick.

Based and malepilled
👍
I loved this
Thank you!
Class. Mirrored a lot of my own experiences, feelings. Oh to be a girl in the 00s, staring at a group of boys hoping they'd tag her in.
